More of Elfvera

Hello everyone :) I have painted Elfvera's " Herb and Spell" shop and also made a few bits and pieces. It is a deep purple not blue witches need purple in their lives anyone know why ? :D I made the floor from stir sticks painted white and then dirtied with watered down black. My first time doing this kind of flooring. It takes a lot of stir sticks lol
The witch on the window is again stickers.

This is a dressing table for Elfvera for her bedroom.

I made this table from beads and a piece of wood. I painted it dark grey then brushed acrylic black paint on top I am really pleased with it it looks like a marble top.

I have also started to make a few books.

I am enjoying this project so much I am getting to try so many new things. It was fun trying to make old books and making things look dirty and used :D Thank you to all the people who share their ideas and tutorials I don't know if I would have even tried this project without them.
Elfvera's Grandfather was back for a while and brought her some fantastic gifts that I will show you soon :D He of course has left again muttering something about a unicorn :)))
Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.
Big Hugs to all my Friends

Hi Maria! I love the way Elfvera's house is coming along! The table with the agate top is gorgeous, and so is the one you made from beads! I think the books look fantastic! This project is a lot of fun to follow!(And I love the blue color for her walls... I know you said it is purple... but it looks really beautifully blue! LOL! (I have the same problem when I take pictures of my deep purple iris flowers in my RL garden!) Sometimes it is impossible to make the pictures look like the real color!

Oh dear, Maria. If you find out why witches need purple in their lives, please let me know right away. I've never had reason to consider whether I'm a witch, but I definitely need purple in my life. I should probably find out why. The books you're making are great; you've aged them well. I especially like the ornamentation you've used on them; nice work.

Hi Maria! Your roombox for Elfvera is absolutely gorgeous and very witchy chic!! Purple....yes, that's a very difficult color to photograph, maybe it has something to do with the basic color, which is used for making the purple: if there is added much blue to the paint mix, than you can see the most of this color in the picture....?
Anyway, I love this room including the furniture you've made for her and even books, that's also such a time consuming job :S!
Wishing you a very nice weekend. And (*whispering*): your answer on my blog can be good ;O! We'll see :D!!
Hugs, Ilona

I'm not surprised Elfvera had to take a little rest - I bet she was exhausted after admiring all her new treasures and shouting on and on "Hooray! I love it! I'm the happiest little witch in the whole wide world!" Wonderful work on everything... I see Witchy Chic finds its way to all parts of the world! ;O) Both tables turned out so lovely and your books looks awesome. I really like your room with the decorations on the window and door... and I believe the purple walls. Ah, it's sometimes sooooo difficult to get the colours right...
