Hello everyone :) I haven't been much of a blogger lately August went in so fast it has been a busy month. For some of it I was minding my very lively 2 1/2 year old grandson while his Mom and Dad had a holiday. It was great fun but was I tired at the end of it lol. I have been doing a little knitting that I would like to show you but first I will show you a gift I received from one of the most talented sweetest ladies in blogland. She sent me these wonderful gifts after winning one of my giveaway prizes but I think I came out the winner :))))
These are the beautiful gifts Mely very kindly sent me.
Look at the tiny perfect chocolates yum.

Wonderful breads and pastries.

This cake was so light and real looking that my son was so sure it was real that he tasted it lol don't worry he only licked it so no damage done to cake. He was amazed it wasn't real.

Yay pringles I have admired these since she first showed them on her blog and I am very happy with them. Also a wonderful bread stick.

Last but not least :) this gorgeous tea pot.

Thank you so very much Mely you have made one Irish woman very happy.
I also received another gift from a very talented lady but as she is on holiday at the moment and hasn't show'n her wonderful new make yet I will wait till she is back ;)
Now some of my knitting the only things I have been able to make this summer lol.

A baby jacket.

A nice warm cardigan for the winter.

Two baby dresses

A jumper and skirt for the lady of the house.

I hope you all had a wonderful August and that September will be a very creative fantastic month.
Thank you all for reading my blog and for all the wonderful comments I love them :-D
Hugs to All my Friends.

Everything is beautiful! I especially like the baby jacket in this lovely blue/green shade! You are so kind to watch over your grandchild so the parents can have some time off! I bet it was very tiring indeed but children are such a joy to have :)

I'm glad you had a chance to keep your hand in the minis this summer. It's amazing that you could do that with a 2 1/2 year-old running around! lol xo Jennifer

The Pringles and the cake are so well done! But I had to laugh about your son, who did 'try' to eat the cake. I hope he didn't need to visit his dentist ;)?!
Your knitwork is outstanding, I guess that your miniature people are ready to dress for the coming colder seasons ;)!
I wish you a good rest after the holidays with your lively grandson and much creativity! Hugs Ilona
